Get Involved

CREDA Houston’s committees are essential to the Chapter’s success, offering members meaningful opportunities to get involved, strengthen relationships, and advance their careers.

The committee selection process considers the length of membership and attendance at CREDA luncheons and other events. Final selections are made at the discretion of committee chairs and board members.

Career Forward

The Career Forward program supports professionals ages 35 to 45 as they continue growing beyond Developing Leaders. The program connects participants with CREDA Houston board members, past presidents, and chapter leaders to strengthen relationships, expand industry knowledge, and stay engaged in the commercial real estate community.

Developing Leaders

The Developing Leaders program offers professionals age 35 and under opportunities to build relationships, engage with industry leaders, and grow through mentorship and targeted programming. Responsibilities include planning a kickoff meeting, the annual Dinner with the Icons or similar programming, educational and networking events, small group breakfasts, and the mentoring program, while also helping promote membership and engagement within CREDA Houston.

Development | Construction

The Development and Construction Committee provides up-to-date insight into the entitlement, design, and construction process for commercial real estate development. The committee also helps plan Dirt to Delivery, CREDA Houston’s annual commercial development-focused event.

Fall Event

The Fall Event Committee helps plan and execute one of CREDA Houston’s largest annual networking events, bringing together more than 1,100 commercial real estate professionals. Committee members play a key role in creating an engaging experience that strengthens relationships across the industry.
